Tournament Details:
Co-Ed Doubles Tournament will consist of an 8-team, single-elimination structure.
For each elimination round, teams will face-off in a “Best-of-3” game series. Winners will advance and continue to compete until one final team is crowned the tournament champion, and winner of the Grand Prize!
Flow of Tournament:
The first 4 teams are selected and paired up at random. They will face-off in a “Best-of-3” game series for the first bracket. Winners will advance to the Semi-Final round once all preliminary games are complete.
Once the first bracket is complete, the remaining 4 teams will be paired up at random, and will then face-off in a “Best-of-3” game series for the second bracket. Winners will join the first set of winning teams, and advance to the Semi-Final round.
(There will be a brief intermission, to allow teams to refresh & regroup, as courts are reset.)Semi-Final round will then begin, with the top 4 teams getting paired up at random to compete. Teams will face-off in a “Best-of-3” game series to determine the top 2 teams that will advance to the Championship round.
Once the court is reset, the top 2 teams will face-off in a “Best-of-3” game series to determine the winners of the tournament, and be crowned the “What’s the Dill!?” Champions!!
